I was brought into CSI as an NT expert and the corporate office changed their strategies and went with Novell instead. I came in and upgraded there network from Token Ring and Twinax to Ethernet. I handled the PC support on both the hardware and software level. I supported Microsoft Office 97 and Lotus Smartsuite. I installed and supported hardware IBM 5250 emulation cards and IBM 5250 emulation software. I worked with an AS/400 and terminals in the factory. We upgraded to 3Com Ethernet cards and Cisco Switches and Routers. I worked with the corporate office on software audits and y2k testing. I installed a linux server with firewall and proxy services to handle Internet connectivity.
