Maintained the co-location web servers for Kurion. I interfaced with the developers to move applications to the co-location facility at Exodus. Working with Compaq 1U servers and 4 processor servers. Support Windows NT, Windows 2000 web servers and MS-SQL servers. Support Sun and Microsoft JVM's running servlets with JRun. Benchmarked the current applications on all JVM versions and on Linux. Built python scripts to automate server operations. Installed a Linux server running X-Windows on a dual processor Compaq Proliant which users could run Unix environments from their Windows machines. I developed standard machine configurations for the developers desktop machines. I worked with developers to configure Linux as a desktop environment.
